About the Role
You will plan and document full technical production for a multi-stage conference, define AV and streaming specifications, select and manage vendors, and coordinate venue technical infrastructure. You will run multi-stream live productions, integrate streaming platforms, lead on-site technical crews, troubleshoot in real time, and oversee post-event video delivery and reconciliation.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in technical production for large-scale conferences (5,000+ attendees)
- Proven track record managing multi-stage, multi-day events with concurrent livestreams
- Deep expertise in broadcast-quality video production and live streaming workflows
- Experience managing AV vendors and technical crews (20+ person teams)
- Strong understanding of streaming protocols and encoding standards (RTMP, SRT, HLS)
- Proficiency with video switching systems such as vMix, Blackmagic ATEM, and Ross
- Experience with professional audio systems and mixing consoles
- Knowledge of streaming platforms, CDN infrastructure, and high-bandwidth networking requirements
- Familiarity with recording, archival workflows, and post-production delivery
- Excellent communication, calmness under pressure, and strong problem-solving
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and across global time zones
- Valid passport and ability to travel to Mumbai, India for on-site support
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technical production plans and runbooks for all stages
- Define technical specifications and requirements for AV, streaming, and recording systems
- Evaluate and select AV vendors and manage vendor relationships
- Coordinate with venue teams on power, rigging, internet connectivity, and technical infrastructure
- Create contingency plans for technical failures and emergency scenarios
- Oversee multi-stream production across concurrent stages
- Manage streaming platform integration and ensure reliable global delivery
- Coordinate with content platforms for archival and distribution
- Ensure consistent video and audio quality and implement redundancy systems
- Lead technical crew and coordinate with AV vendor teams during the event
- Troubleshoot technical issues and manage real-time problem resolution
- Conduct daily technical briefings and coordinate with stage managers
- Monitor stream health, audio levels, and video quality throughout the event
- Ensure smooth speaker transitions and provide presentation technical support
- Oversee video post-production and content delivery to archive platforms
- Document lessons learned and manage vendor invoicing and budget reconciliation
