About the Role
You will own structural steel and fabricated-assembly sourcing for modular manufacturing and site builds. You will secure regional fabrication capacity, negotiate raw-material and fabrication pricing, qualify fabricators for quality and capacity, and manage weekly load balancing across suppliers.
Requirements
- Source structural steel or fabricated steel assemblies at industrial volume.
- Understand fabrication economics, including material, labor, coatings, and freight.
- Qualify fabrication shops and assess capacity claims.
- Manage commodity exposure through indexing or hedging.
Responsibilities
- Own the structural-steel and fabricated-assembly category.
- Source regional fabrication capacity to support the build plan.
- Negotiate raw-material and fabrication pricing.
- Qualify fabricators on quality and capacity.
- Manage weekly load balancing across fabricators.
