About the Role
You will design, build, and maintain core libraries, frameworks, and developer tools. You will own infrastructure for building and testing Android Automotive OS, operate the Gerrit code-review system, develop automated code-analysis tooling, and establish tooling standards across engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or foreign equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- At least 1 year of experience at an automotive technology company
- At least 12 months of experience using C++, Python, ROS, Blaze, Critique, and gRPC/Protocol buffers
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core libraries, frameworks, and developer tools
- Own and improve developer infrastructure for building and testing Android Automotive OS
- Operate and maintain the Gerrit code-review system
- Develop and maintain automated code analysis, static analysis, and quality-gating tooling
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve code quality, build performance, and release workflows
- Establish tooling and infrastructure best practices and standards
- Act as the primary technical owner for Android Automotive OS developer tooling
