About the Role
You will build and own production services for energy-control contracts, including protocol layers, gateway services, and APIs. You will design messaging and state systems, maintain engineering standards, build constraint execution paths, and implement observability for latency, staleness, and watchdog health.
Requirements
- Experience with high-throughput messaging systems such as NATS or Kafka
- Experience designing time-series data models in ClickHouse, TimescaleDB, or comparable systems
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience building and owning production services
- Software design patterns, interfaces, modules, and failure domains
- Testing for production failure modes
- Experience with device-to-database signal chains and data integrity
