About the Role
You will build and own platform services and internal tooling in Go from design through production. You will improve build, CI/CD and release workflows, strengthen shared libraries, and help integrate AI and coding-assistant tools safely. You will collaborate with network and Linux engineers, mentor teammates, review code, and troubleshoot cross-domain infrastructure issues during on-call.
Requirements
- Strong software-engineering fundamentals
- Production experience owning services end-to-end
- Experience with Go or another statically typed language
- Comfort working on Linux
- Understanding of processes, networking basics, packaging and systemd
- Experience with build systems, CI/CD and release pipelines
- Experience with a monorepo or serious build and release setup
- Track record of delivering production work
- Good written and verbal communication
- Interest or hands-on experience with developer experience and AI or coding-assistant tooling is desirable
- Infrastructure or platform software experience is desirable
- API, data pipeline and schema management experience is desirable
- Infrastructure-as-code and cloud experience is desirable
- Exposure to server or network hardware and datacentre operations is desirable
Responsibilities
- Build and own platform services and internal tooling in Go

- Build guardrails around AI and coding-assistant tooling
- Collaborate with network and Linux engineers on scalable infrastructure software

- Review code and raise engineering standards
- Participate in on-call and troubleshoot infrastructure problems
