About the Role
You will provide advanced operational, diagnostic and engineering support for Arm-based hardware platforms across laboratory and data center environments. You will lead hardware troubleshooting, support bring-up and validation, diagnose system failures, perform root cause analysis, document procedures and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
- 7 years of experience with server hardware architectures and board-level debugging
- Experience analyzing system logs, hardware telemetry and power or thermal metrics
- Hands-on experience with HPC systems, AI compute platforms or rack-scale infrastructure
- Strong collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with prototype or pre-production hardware bring-up
- Familiarity with data center facilities, liquid cooling and power distribution systems
- Experience using Python, Bash or automation tools
- Exposure to failure analysis and reliability engineering methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead break-fix troubleshooting for server blades, motherboards, power systems and rack-scale infrastructure
- Support hardware bring-up, component validation and firmware interaction testing
- Diagnose failures involving thermal behavior, power anomalies, network configuration and BIOS or BMC issues
- Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions or design improvements
- Support deployment and rollout through validation and qualification cycles
- Investigate environmental factors affecting system reliability
- Develop standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides and validation documentation
- Mentor junior technicians and engineers
- Participate in on-call rotations and off-hours support during critical milestones
