About the Role
Design and analyze foundation and structural systems for data centers, optimize structures supporting heavy equipment, evaluate foundations and metal structures under varied loads, and collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and the EPC team to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 7+ years of structural engineering experience focused on foundation design and calculations.
- Expertise with STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, load-bearing calculations, and concrete and metal design standards.
- Expertise analyzing metal structures under dynamic loading, fatigue, and thermal stress.
- Experience with large-scale commercial buildings such as warehouses and manufacturing facilities.
- Familiarity with geotechnical studies, foundation design techniques, and related regulations.
- Familiarity with IBC code and FM requirements.
- Experience in data center or energy facility design.
Responsibilities
- Design foundations for heavy equipment and infrastructure in compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Analyze steel frameworks, beams, and supports under dynamic loads and environmental conditions.
- Perform load-bearing capacity analyses and specify concrete and metal materials.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, stakeholders, and the EPC team.
- Troubleshoot structural issues during design and construction.
- Prepare engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and recommend measures to maintain structural integrity.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Monitor construction to verify adherence to approved designs and specifications.
