About the Role
Own end-to-end development of Flycar across its user interface, API integrations, WebSocket flows, and fallback handling. Build reliable interfaces for challenging hardware and network environments, guide frontend architecture, and debug real-time payment flows across terminals, mobile applications, and backend services.
Requirements
- 6+ years with React and TypeScript.
- Experience with real-time data using WebSockets and polling, including graceful degradation on unreliable networks.
- Experience shipping payments, POS, fintech, or similar high-consequence software.
- Ability to work across the stack, read API contracts, debug queries, and reason about system design.
- Strong ownership instincts in a small, fast-moving team.
- Experience with payments infrastructure, POS systems, restaurant or hospitality technology, multi-tenant systems, or hardware-constrained environments is beneficial.
- Exposure to blockchain, crypto, or web3 and experience with Datadog, Amplitude, or similar platforms are beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end development of Flycar across UI, API integration, WebSocket flows, and fallback handling.
- Build reliable interfaces across FSR and QSR environments with inconsistent hardware, unreliable networks, and varied POS configurations.
- Drive frontend architecture decisions across the platform.
- Debug real-time payment flows spanning terminals, mobile applications, and backend services.
