About the Role
You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-native backend applications and RESTful APIs. You will lead a small group of engineers, manage sprint deliverables, conduct code reviews, resolve production issues, and participate in agile planning and architecture reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Java and Spring Boot software engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying RESTful microservices
- 3+ years of cloud-native development experience on GCP, AWS, or Azure using Docker and Kubernetes
- 3+ years of automated CI/CD deployment experience using Jenkins, Maven or Gradle, and Git
- 1+ years of experience as a technical lead, module lead, or mentor
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-native backend applications and RESTful APIs
- Lead software engineers to achieve sprint goals and manage technical deliverables
- Enforce code quality standards and conduct peer code reviews
- Apply microservices, containerization, serverless computing, and CI/CD practices
- Triage, debug, and resolve complex production and system issues
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, architecture reviews, and retrospectives
