About the Role
You will own data pipelines and storage layers end to end. You will build streaming and batch ingestion systems, optimize analytical data performance and cost, establish infrastructure-as-code practices, improve observability and reliability, and reduce operational toil through automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years building and operating production data infrastructure
- ClickHouse
- Kafka or equivalent messaging technology
- Flink or dbt
- Streaming and batch workload experience
- High availability

Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-throughput data pipelines and streaming systems
- Build and operate real-time and batch ingestion infrastructure
- Own analytical data schema design query performance and cost optimization
- Architect and scale data solutions with research and product teams
- Optimize pipeline and query latency
- Lead infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices
- Participate in on-call and eliminate recurring data issues
