About the Role
Design, build, and evolve core datasets tracking product performance and company-wide metrics. Develop scalable pipelines ingesting application events and database snapshots into a data lake, ensure data quality and reliability, collaborate with application engineers and analytics teams, contribute to shared data engineering tooling, and promote best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building end-to-end data pipelines
- Production-level Python software engineering experience for applications, services, or systems
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using Spark, Flink, or similar frameworks
- Strong SQL skills including Presto and Spark SQL
- Experience across data infrastructure, analytics, and visualization platforms
- Ability to collaborate and democratize data through actionable insights
Responsibilities
- Define and build key datasets across product areas
- Build scalable data pipelines using Python, Spark, and Airflow
- Partner with upstream engineering teams to enhance data generation patterns
- Collaborate with data consumers to design intuitive data models
- Develop shared data engineering tooling and standards
- Define and promote data engineering best practices
