About the Role
You will design, build and maintain high-performing, flexible and scalable software solutions. You will create product features that help users understand investments, manage portfolios and participate in voting rights. You will design and implement APIs for partners, take loosely defined problems through to documented, tested and deployed solutions, collaborate with engineers across the business, advocate best coding practices and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a Software Engineer
- Proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript backend frameworks (Express, NextJS or similar)
- Comfortable writing performant and efficient backend code
- Experience building RESTful APIs and designing application interfaces
- Experience working in multi-person development teams using automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and peer reviews in Agile environments
- Strong engineering principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with React and React Native
