About the Role
You will monitor the Sui DeFi ecosystem for security and economic risks, identify and help remediate critical vulnerabilities, assess protocol compliance, and coordinate incident response. You will build analysis tooling, perform audits and forensic reviews, validate security claims against on-chain data, and produce actionable findings, reports, and runbooks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of hands-on security engineering, smart contract security, or DeFi risk engineering experience
- Strong understanding of DeFi mechanics and failure modes
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Python, with comfort using Rust
- Ability to write SQL and work with blockchain indexers and data warehouses
- Experience reading smart-contract source code, bytecode, or disassembly
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Interest in web3
Responsibilities
- Build and operate continuous monitoring for security and economic risks across the Sui DeFi ecosystem
- Extend static-analysis tooling and proprietary agent skills
- Measure and drive protocol compliance with DeFi security recommendations
- Validate security claims, track remediation commitments, and escalate regressions or undisclosed incidents
- Audit high-TVL Sui protocols, analyze forks, review multisig upgrade payloads, and conduct incident forensics
- Coordinate due diligence, incidents, and post-mortems with external DeFi teams and internal DeFi products
- Write traceable findings, reports, and runbooks
