About the Role
You will lead the setup, integration, and maintenance of autonomous forklifts at customer sites. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and system integrations; manage site configurations; support training and testing; document root causes and operational best practices; and automate repetitive diagnostic work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 6+ years of field experience coordinating with customers across robotics hardware, software, and networking
- Customer relationship management skills
- Change management experience
- Industrial automation and industrial machinery repair experience
- Linux command-line, networking, and administration experience
- Python or C++ programming experience preferred
- Written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with office productivity tools
- Ability to automate repetitive tasks with tools and scripts
- Experience in a full-scale warehouse environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
- Ability to meet stated physical requirements, including lifting and carrying 15 to 44 pounds
Responsibilities
- Lead the setup, integration, and maintenance of autonomous forklifts at customer sites
- Own site technical planning, risks, and go/no-go decisions
- Report fleet adoption, utilization, deployment progress, and technical risks
- Debug Linux, networking, services, logs, telemetry, and integrations
- Perform on-robot hardware repairs, retrofits, and upgrades
- Manage and improve site system configurations
- Integrate with customer warehouse management systems
- Serve as the primary customer contact during deployment through go-live
- Provide customer training on fleet operation and best practices
- Document implementation playbooks, optimization notes, and best practices
- Support on-site product testing and provide detailed feedback
- Write tools and scripts to automate setup and debugging work
