About the Role
You will lead enterprise and ICT risk management across financial, operational, technology, and cybersecurity domains. You will own risk policies and governance tooling, oversee recurring risk committees and regulatory assessments, enhance control frameworks, advise investment decisions, coordinate crisis responses, deliver risk training, and report directly to the Board.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Computer Science, Law, or a related field
- Bring at least eight years of experience in non-financial risk management or IT security, preferably in financial services, fintech, or crypto assets
- Apply risk knowledge and experience across a wide variety of challenges
- Demonstrate experience facilitating cross-departmental collaboration to implement controls
- Show a proven record of developing and implementing regulatory compliance frameworks such as DORA, MiFID, or MiCAR
- Possess strong knowledge of risk management processes and best practices
- Use analytical and critical-thinking skills to design effective risk mitigation strategies
- Communicate complex risk concepts as actionable insights for diverse stakeholders
- Balance risk and potential upside through a solutions-oriented approach
- Dutch proficiency is a strong advantage
- An advanced degree or professional certification such as FRM, CFA, CISA, RE, or RO is preferred
Responsibilities
- Own the ICT Risk Management Policy and associated GRC tooling
- Oversee the Quarterly Risk Committee, annual SIRA, and annual DORA register of information
- Conduct risk assessments across market, credit, operational, IT, and cybersecurity domains
- Build risk awareness and support business functions in implementing effective controls
- Collaborate across departments to design and implement strategic risk controls
- Expand and enhance the Risk Management framework with a focus on ICT risks
- Serve as a senior member of the Yield Investment Committee and provide independent perspectives on strategies and risks
- Act as the key escalation point during security incidents and coordinate crisis response
- Monitor crypto-asset market developments to maintain regulatory compliance and stakeholder relevance
- Implement risk management training modules and foster organization-wide risk awareness
- Report directly to the Board
