About the Role

You'll be at the heart of quality for complex AI systems, working hand in hand with the research team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in the reliability and robustness of AI/ML-based identity verification services, working day-to-day alongside data scientists, researchers, and software engineers to design test strategies that match the complexity of the systems. You will also be a key player in the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring every release is production-ready.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in QA and test automation on complex systems
  • Strong hands-on skills in Python for automation (pytest, Locust, etc.)
  • Experience working with AI/ML systems (model testing, data pipeline validation, etc.)
  • Solid expertise in CI/CD: building, maintaining, and improving pipelines (GitLab CI or equivalent)
  • Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
  • Ability to dive deep into complex code to find the root cause of a bug
  • Autonomous, analytical mindset with a taste for technically demanding environments
  • Fluent English and French (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

  • Design develop and maintain robust automated tests in Python
  • Debug complex components related to AI/ML models and distributed architectures
  • Own and improve the CI/CD pipeline (GitLab CI): test integration, deployment management, and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with the R&D team to anticipate quality risks from the design stage
  • Identify document and track bugs throughout their full lifecycle
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to high-quality releases
  • Share best practices and raise the QA bar across teams
