About Dymension
Dymension is a Layer 1 blockchain designed for deploying application-specific rollups called RollApps. Creators launch tokens through an integrated launchpad, bootstrap liquidity via bonding curves, and can evolve those tokens into fully operational RollApp chains supporting EVM or CosmWasm execution environments. The network uses Cosmos SDK with Tendermint consensus and provides shared security, an embedded AMM, and IBC-based interoperability across deployed RollApps.

Candidate Availability
Required and preferred rules are kept separate and reflect the wording in the original posting.
About the Role
You will architect and implement a dedicated settlement layer for rollups that is compatible with the Cosmos-SDK. You will modify and extend Proof of Stake core components (including Tendermint and SDK-level logic) to meet settlement requirements. You will write high-quality Go code, apply concurrency patterns, and optimize for performance and reliability. You will analyze networking, storage, and consensus interactions and implement robust solutions. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to open-source integrations where relevant.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- 1+ years of experience building blockchain core technology
- 1+ years of experience writing Go with knowledge of concurrency primitives, reflection, and standard packages
- Strong computer science fundamentals including networking, storage, operating systems, data structures, and compilers
- Experience with Cosmos SDK, Tendermint, or CosmWasm is a plus
- Contributions to open-source projects is a plus
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop a Cosmos-SDK compatible settlement layer for rollups
- Design and modify POS blockchain core components including Tendermint and SDK logic
- Implement performant and reliable Go code using concurrency primitives and best practices
- Analyze and optimize networking, storage, and consensus interactions
- Write and maintain clear code, tests, and documentation
- Review code and contribute to open-source integrations
Benefits
- Flexible work schedule
- Share of the token supply
