About the Role

You will establish and govern PMO cost and schedule baselines across manufacturing programs. You will validate estimate-to-baseline handoffs, build forecasting and reporting tools, lead monthly program economics reviews, maintain data integrity, manage portfolio risks, train project managers, and conduct project close-out analyses.

Requirements

6+ years of project controls, cost engineering, or manufacturing finance experience in an ETO or make-to-order environment
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field
Experience owning cost baselines, progress measurement, and estimate-at-completion forecasting
Advanced Google Sheets modeling skills
ERP experience with job costing, work orders, and BOM-level cost roll-ups
Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
Scheduling literacy with Smartsheet, MS Project, Monday.com, or Primavera P6
Ability to influence project managers and operations leaders
Participation in drug and alcohol programs

Responsibilities

Establish PMO-wide cost and schedule baselining standards
Define and audit baseline change-control standards
Validate awarded scope, quoted hours, material costs, and margin assumptions before program start
Build cost-to-complete and estimate-at-completion forecasting tools
Lead monthly program economics reviews and track action closure
Own forecasting SOPs, reporting templates, and supporting tooling
Build reporting data pipelines, refresh automation, and reconciliations
Maintain cost-code, work-order, WIP, and BOM-to-job-cost data integrity
Track portfolio contingency and risk allowance
Train project managers on controls tools and reporting standards
Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Estimating on cost and variance information
Lead financial and schedule post-mortems
