About the Role
You will own end-to-end design of complex, data-rich trading interfaces, from problem framing and user research through high-fidelity design, prototyping, and developer handoff. You will translate trader workflows into strategic design decisions, evolve design system components for real-time data displays, leverage AI/LLM tools daily to accelerate design work, and ensure quality through visual QA.
Requirements
- 5+ years designing complex, data-driven products with significant experience on trading platforms or professional financial tools
- Deep domain expertise in trading and exchange products including order types, market microstructure, liquidity, charting, and portfolio analytics
- Daily, demonstrated use of AI and LLM tools in design practice
- Strong portfolio of shipped trading or financial products with case studies showing end-to-end process and outcomes
- Expert-level Figma skills and experience with modern prototyping tools
- Excellent communication and storytelling to articulate design rationale to cross-functional audiences
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for design decisions backed by research
- Experience working in Agile environments with distributed teams

- Ship end-to-end from research through high-fidelity design, prototyping, and developer handoff
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data teams on strategy and prioritization
- Evolve the design system with components for trading tables, charts, order entry, and real-time displays
- Champion trader insights through user research and competitive analysis
- Contribute to design processes, libraries, and AI integration playbooks
