About the Role

You will review new products, enhancements, market expansions, and material changes throughout the product lifecycle. You will assess regulatory and compliance risks, document recommendations and approval routes, develop practical controls, maintain audit trails, support post-launch monitoring, and provide compliance guidance and training.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant Compliance, Legal, or Risk experience in financial services, fintech, payments, or cryptocurrency.
• Product compliance, regulatory advisory, or product risk-assessment experience.
• Knowledge of digital-asset products, including trading, custody, payments, staking, lending, wallets, and DeFi.
• Knowledge of licensing, AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC, consumer protection, financial promotions, and market-conduct requirements.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into product requirements and controls.
• Experience using AI-enabled technology for risk assessments.
• Project management, stakeholder management, and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review new products, features, market expansions, and material product changes.
• Assess regulatory, AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC, consumer-protection, market-conduct, privacy, and third-party risks.
• Document compliance recommendations, mitigants, residual risks, approvals, and escalations.
• Develop scalable compliance solutions and controls with Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders.
• Maintain product-review documentation and audit trails.
• Support post-launch monitoring, control testing, assurance, and remediation.
• Deliver compliance framework guidance and targeted training.
• Support priority product launches and special projects.
