About the Role
You will serve as the technical advisor for AI infrastructure sourcing. You will evaluate server platforms, GPU architectures, cluster designs, and supplier proposals; define reference architectures; analyze total cost of ownership; develop procurement knowledge materials; and translate technical requirements into sourcing criteria.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of hardware, systems, or infrastructure engineering experience
- Experience designing and supporting large-scale data center hardware platforms
- Expertise in server and storage architectures, power, thermal, rack-level design, and hardware components
- Familiarity with AI cloud, hyperscale infrastructure, or GPU cluster environments
- Technical judgment and stakeholder-influence ability
- English and Mandarin Chinese communication skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Responsibilities
- Advise procurement leadership on AI infrastructure sourcing decisions
- Evaluate AI server platforms, GPU architectures, cluster designs, and emerging technologies
- Define hardware reference architectures and standards
- Approve specifications and bills of materials
- Review vendor proposals, technical assumptions, and roadmaps
- Analyze total cost of ownership
- Deliver knowledge-sharing sessions and develop technical reference materials
- Translate technical requirements into sourcing specifications and evaluation criteria
