About the Role
You will design, build, and operate shared platform infrastructure across public and private cloud environments. You will develop infrastructure automation, Kubernetes capabilities, CI/CD services, observability, and developer-facing self-service tools. You will troubleshoot production issues, improve reliability and security, document platform patterns, and participate in on-call support.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience operating production infrastructure in Azure, AWS, or comparable public clouds
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible infrastructure automation
- Hands-on experience with containerized workloads and Kubernetes platforms
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or another platform-tooling programming language
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines or developer-facing platform services
- Strong Linux systems administration experience
- Knowledge of cloud networking, including VPCs, VNets, subnets, routing, VPNs, load balancing, DNS, and firewalls
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability
- Understanding of platform security, identity and access management, vulnerability remediation, and secure configuration
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable platform infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and private clouds
- Develop infrastructure-as-code modules, automation frameworks, and self-service capabilities
- Build and maintain container and Kubernetes platform capabilities
- Develop tooling with Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Go
- Build standardized infrastructure and application deployment paths
- Establish platform standards for reliability, scalability, security, performance, and cost efficiency
- Support capacity planning, vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery, and lifecycle management
- Improve CI/CD, monitoring, logging, alerting, and developer platform services
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and lead root-cause analysis
- Maintain architecture diagrams, documentation, and operational procedures
- Provide technical guidance and contribute to platform architecture decisions
- Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours maintenance
