About the Role
You will build and evolve the internal platform that enables engineers to build, ship, and operate systems efficiently. You will design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and internal tooling, apply infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices, and create observability solutions including monitoring, alerting, and dashboards. You will design and build AI-powered tools and agentic workflows to automate repetitive tasks and augment engineering productivity. You will work to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability, participate in incident response, and contribute to improving operational processes. You will collaborate with product engineers on infrastructure design and operational best practices, mentor other engineers through code reviews and design discussions, and help shape the technical direction of the infrastructure and developer platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles
- Strong programming experience (for example Go, Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment systems
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, reliability, and performance
- Experience improving developer experience through tooling or platform improvements
- Experience building tools or workflows that leverage AI/LLMs to automate tasks or augment productivity
- Experience working in highly collaborative engineering teams
- Pragmatic mindset focused on solving real business problems
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure that supports the platform
- Develop internal tooling and automation to improve developer productivity and operational efficiency
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices to manage systems
- Build and maintain observability systems including monitoring, alerting, and dashboards
- Design and build AI-powered internal tools and agentic workflows that automate tasks and augment productivity
- Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability across the platform
- Collaborate with product engineers on infrastructure design and operational best practices
- Participate in incident response and improve operational processes
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing
- Help shape the technical direction of infrastructure and the developer platform
