About the Role

You will develop and deploy machine-learning models for multi-object tracking, pose and kinematic estimation, and sensor fusion. You will build scalable training and evaluation workflows, analyze vehicle data, improve production C++ and Python software, define validation strategies, and guide technical design, reviews, and engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant industry experience, Master's degree with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year
  • Experience with autonomous vehicle or robotics perception systems
  • Experience developing and deploying ML models for perception, localization, or sensor fusion
  • Proficiency with PyTorch and modern ML tooling
  • Understanding of 3D geometry, probabilistic estimation, coordinate transforms, and robotics
  • Experience with large multimodal datasets and scalable processing, labeling, and evaluation pipelines
  • Software engineering skills in Python and C++
  • Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, testing, debugging, and performance optimization
  • Written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy production ML models for multi-object tracking
  • Develop scalable training and evaluation workflows using PyTorch, distributed infrastructure, and real-world datasets
  • Design and improve tracking and sensor fusion algorithms
  • Analyze vehicle data to identify failure modes and improve models and systems
  • Develop production software in C++ and Python
  • Define evaluation, verification, and validation strategies for tracking quality, robustness, and safety
  • Make technical design and architecture decisions
  • Collaborate to deliver integrated autonomous driving capabilities
  • Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering best practices
