About the Role
You will build and evolve the website’s component library, content model, rendering stack, and development tooling. You will translate Figma specifications into responsive accessible components, maintain SEO and localisation, improve engineering standards, and shape the platform’s technical direction.
Requirements
- At least five years of software engineering experience, including three years at senior level
- Experience owning a Sanity content model and designing schemas
- Knowledge of GROQ and Portable Text
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
- Knowledge of component API design
- Ability to work with SSR, serverless and edge runtimes, API routes, SQL databases, secrets, and CI
- Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, web performance, and WCAG 2.2 AA
- Knowledge of SEO, analytics events, and conversion measurement
- Communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve Astro components, Sanity schemas, and design tokens
- Own and design the content model
- Implement responsive and accessible Figma specifications
- Extend the platform for AI-assisted development
- Maintain SEO integrity
- Review code and improve engineering standards
- Maintain localisation and the translation pipeline
- Shape the website platform’s technical direction
