About the Role
Own core engineering domains such as execution, custody integration, market data, risk, or trading; contribute to the Kotlin-versus-.NET architectural evaluation; define agentic SDLC practices; write clean, tested, observable code; and collaborate across business, compliance, marketing, and infrastructure functions.
Requirements
- 5+ years building production systems where correctness and uptime matter
- Expertise in Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Kafka, or .NET, C#, and ASP.NET Core
- Openness to work across the JVM and .NET ecosystems
- Experience with AWS, EKS, observability, and infrastructure concepts
- Understanding of event-driven systems, idempotency, reconciliation, and distributed systems
- Ability to communicate architecture, boundaries, data flows, and constraints
- Daily use of coding agents
- Experience building or customizing an agentic workflow, tool, or automation
- Experience in finance, payments, trading, or similarly demanding environments is preferred
- Experience with order management, FIX, REST or WebSocket exchange APIs, or crypto custody is a plus
Responsibilities
- Own one or two core engineering domains end-to-end
- Ship measurable improvements to regulated money-moving systems
- Prototype, benchmark, and document the Kotlin-versus-.NET architectural evaluation
- Define and validate agentic SDLC practices
- Write clean, tested, and observable code
- Collaborate with business, compliance, marketing, and infrastructure functions
