About the Role
You will own the design, analysis, integration, and testing of avionics thermal-management and electronics-cooling systems. You will create heat-transfer and fluid-flow models, lead trade studies and risk assessments, plan tests and instrumentation, analyze data, communicate findings, and influence electrical and PCBA design decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
- 4+ years of professional avionics or electronics thermal-engineering experience

Responsibilities
- Own thermal solutions for unmanned aerial vehicle avionics
- Develop and validate heat-transfer and fluid-flow models
- Provide technical leadership for trade studies, architecture decisions, and risk assessments
- Drive test planning, instrumentation, and data analysis
- Guide cross-disciplinary teams in thermal and fluid fundamentals
- Communicate findings through design reviews and written reports
- Identify risks and influence electrical and PCBA design direction
