About the Role
You will design, validate, and deploy advanced test systems for critical aircraft components and subsystems. You will architect PCBs and test interfaces, develop automated Python test sequences, integrate fixtures, lead design reviews, validate harsh-environment performance, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field
- 3+ years of hardware design and test engineering experience or equivalent advanced-degree experience
- Expertise in electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles for hardware test systems
- Ability to design, implement, and validate multidisciplinary hardware systems
- US citizenship required due to security clearance requirements
Responsibilities
- Design, validate, and deploy test systems for critical components and subsystems
- Architect PCBs and test interfaces for power electronics, RF, and communication systems
- Develop automated test sequences in Python
- Design and integrate test fixtures, relays, PLCs, PCBAs, and harnessing
- Lead cross-functional design reviews and advocate for design for testability
- Perform HASS, ESS, and HALT testing
- Mentor junior engineers
