About the Role
You will design, build, and operate software-delivery, edge-networking, access, and observability platforms. You will troubleshoot platform issues, participate in regional on-call coverage and incident response, manage multi-region releases and clusters, operate internal tools, and build self-service platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 5 or more years in DevOps, platform infrastructure, or SRE roles
- Experience operating large-scale, highly available, high-performance production systems
- Experience delivering multi-quarter platform work across multiple Kubernetes clusters
- Deep Kubernetes and Helm experience
- Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience across multiple environments
- GitOps and least-privilege practices
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines at scale
- Argo CD or comparable continuous-delivery experience
- Production Google Cloud experience, ideally GKE
- Knowledge of load balancing, DNS, TLS, HTTP routing, and request-path debugging
- Platform-as-a-Product mindset
- Ability to participate in APAC or EMEA follow-the-sun on-call coverage
- Strong written communication in a distributed async team
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot platform issues and advise engineers
- Participate in regional on-call coverage, alert triage, incident response, debugging, escalation, and post-mortems
- Own the production change path from GitHub Actions through Argo CD and Helm
- Operate high-traffic edge and API-gateway infrastructure
- Operate internal tooling including Grafana, Sentry, Teleport, Metabase, and Atlantis
- Build self-service capabilities and paved paths for engineers
- Lead platform-improvement projects from discovery through production
