Senior Data Scientist Analytics

About the Role
You will own end-to-end development and delivery of critical analytics products. You will lead roadmap and prioritization, collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product and go-to-market teams, and work directly with customers to translate challenges into actionable analytics. You will develop complex statistical analyses, algorithms, and interactive visualizations to detect and prevent crypto-related fraud, design algorithms to analyze distributed ledger data and cryptographic protocols, communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, mentor colleagues, and establish statistical best practices. You will also support analytics on-call duties as required.
Requirements
- Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or Physics
- Advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in an analytical role
- Experience building internal scalable data and analytics products from design to deployment
- Proven experience with at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience developing code in a team environment (git, notebooks, testing)
- Solid understanding of statistical distributions and analysis methods
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertainty
