About the Role

Serve as the analytical partner to Polymarket's product team, owning product insights from metric definition through experimentation, interpretation, and clear recommendations.

Requirements

• 7+ years in product analytics, data science, or a similar role supporting a consumer or trading product.
• Expert SQL.
• Production A/B testing and experimentation experience.
• Strong product sense and hypothesis formation skills.
• Experience defining event tracking and instrumentation.
• Ability to scope ambiguous questions and defend assumptions.
• Strong communication skills for non-technical audiences.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment.
• Causal inference, quasi-experimental methods, or predictive modeling in Python or R is a plus.
• Experience with trading, marketplace, or two-sided products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers on product analytics.
• Define feature success metrics and guardrail metrics.
• Design, instrument, and evaluate end-to-end A/B tests.
• Build funnel and behavioral analyses of user activity.
• Identify user drop-off and friction and translate findings into product direction.
• Own event-tracking specifications and instrumentation quality.
• Promote recurring analyses into modeled datasets.
• Write clear end-to-end documentation.
