About the Role
You will collaborate with data and product stakeholders, design and operate production ELT pipelines and data architectures, integrate diverse data sources, establish data practices, mentor colleagues, implement testing and monitoring, and optimize pipeline and query performance.
Requirements
- Be fluent in English and Portuguese
- Have more than 8 years of experience building robust scalable data environments
- Be highly proficient in Python PySpark SQL Airflow Hadoop Spark Kafka and Git
- Be available to work 3 days on site in São José dos Campos
- Have an interest in data engineering practices and analytics-driven business solutions
- Apply strong engineering principles to data pipelines
- Communicate complex outcomes clearly to varied audiences
- Have a good understanding of the payments industry and Brazilian market specificities
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data scientists analysts engineers product managers and customers
- Design develop deploy and operate production ELT pipelines
- Build scalable data architectures
- Integrate data from varied sources and formats
- Establish data validation governance and discoverability practices
- Implement testing monitoring and validation protocols
- Identify and resolve pipeline performance bottlenecks
- Optimize queries and resource utilization
