About the Role
You will partner with Finance functions to automate processes, assess operating models, map business processes, and support technology integrations. You will build visualizations, reporting, scalable data pipelines, and Finance data lakes; investigate data issues; improve data quality and auditability; prototype technologies; and define data solution requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in audit, finance, finance transformation, big data, project management, or accounting within financial services
- Understanding of GAAP accounting principles and GL or subledger design
- Ability to map transactional data to journal entries
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Python and SQL
- Project management experience including Agile methodologies
- Passion for cryptocurrency, web3, and blockchain technology
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize challenging deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- CPA license is a plus
- SQL or Python coursework or hands-on experience
- Prime brokerage or broker-dealer experience is a plus
