About the Role

You will own and run defined EU compliance operations workstreams, ensuring filings, reporting and control activities are timely, accurate and auditable. You will provide second-line oversight of AML/CFT operations, monitor KPIs and partner with operations to remediate control gaps. You will prepare and quality-control regulatory reports and license documentation, conduct legal and regulatory research on EU and Finnish requirements, and draft concise internal memos and implementation proposals. You will draft, update and localize internal policies, procedures and manuals relevant to KYC/EDD, sanctions, transaction and blockchain monitoring, and regulatory reporting. You will take structured notes from regulatory meetings, maintain central trackers and drive follow-ups. You will support regulatory change management by monitoring developments, updating trackers and coordinating implementation across stakeholders. You will act as a senior coordination point for EU regulatory and compliance workstreams and manage selected interactions with external advisors and, where appropriate, regulators within established guardrails.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years relevant experience in legal regulatory or compliance roles
  • Experience with regulatory reporting suites license applications or supervisory RFIs
  • Degree in law finance economics or another relevant field
  • Ability to interpret and synthesize EU and national legal regulatory texts in English
  • Familiarity with MiCA AMLR DAC8 DORA and related EU requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a remote first international environment
  • Proactive ownership oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Maintain trackers and drive follow-ups from regulatory meetings
  • Support regulatory change management and coordinate implementations
