About the Role
The Senior BI Analyst will define operational and product KPIs, document and explain metrics, ensure data quality through QA and reconciliation, generate reports, build analytical and statistical models, translate business needs into technical requirements, train stakeholders on BI tools, resolve data issues, and create data tools.
Requirements
- Strong data analytical background
- Experience with BI reporting tools, preferably Tableau
- Experience defining requirements for software or data engineers
- Experience designing and running SQL queries
- Experience mapping and reconciling data sources
- Experience tracing data issues
- Experience performing root cause analysis
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams
- Statistical and data modelling experience is a plus
- Experience with banking, financial, or crypto KPIs and concepts is a plus
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain operational and product KPI definitions
- Document and explain metrics, dimensions, and KPIs
- Define and execute QA automation processes
- Define and execute reconciliation processes
- Generate reports from the data warehouse
- Build analytical and statistical data models
- Translate business needs into technical requirements
- Train stakeholders to use BI tools independently
- Work with executive, product, and engineering stakeholders on data needs
- Resolve data-related issues
- Create data tools for business departments
