About the Role

You will design, build, and maintain scalable distributed backend systems. You will own backend services end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to monitoring and long-term reliability. You will integrate Web3 protocols and interact reliably with smart contracts. You will ensure high standards of code quality, performance, security, and observability, collaborate with product and engineering peers, leverage AI-assisted tools to improve development velocity, and contribute to technical discussions, reviews, and mentorship.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and building distributed backend systems
• Strong foundation in algorithms data structures and software design patterns
• Experience with containerized systems Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Postgres MongoDB and Cassandra
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Sentry Prometheus and Grafana
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Experience with Python 3
• Knowledge of Golang is a plus
• Hands-on Web3 experience such as blockchain systems dApps or smart contracts is a plus
• Strong ownership mindset and proactive communication in a distributed async-first team
• Ability to make pragmatic decisions and adapt quickly to new tools including AI-assisted approaches
