About the Role

You will lead and participate in designing developing and maintaining backend systems and APIs. You will architect scalable robust backend solutions, implement monitoring and debugging tools, and optimize code and algorithms for performance. You will write and maintain comprehensive test suites, conduct code reviews, document APIs and processes, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• Located in the EMEA or APAC region
• Strong experience with TypeScript
• Experience working with the Stellar network in production environments
• Technical understanding of blockchain and familiarity with EVM ecosystems is a plus
• Extensive professional experience at senior or lead level
• Solid understanding of document databases and caching mechanisms
• Experience in software design and system architecture
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices
• Ability to write maintainable scalable production-grade code
• Very strong written and verbal English skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and actively participate in the design development and maintenance of backend systems and APIs
• Architect and implement scalable and robust backend solutions to handle growing user loads
• Maintain high coding standards and conduct code reviews to ensure maintainability and readability
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize code and algorithms to improve system performance
• Implement monitoring and debugging tools to proactively identify and resolve issues
• Develop and maintain unit integration and end-to-end test suites to ensure reliability
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Analyze complex technical problems and propose effective solutions
• Document code APIs and technical processes to facilitate knowledge sharing
