About the Role

You will build and own features for the Robinhood Wallet Android app, delivering secure trading experiences for cryptocurrencies and tokenized stocks. You will design scalable mobile architectures, define code standards, integrate with blockchain partners, mentor developers, and provide hands-on technical leadership.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience developing Android applications
Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java
Strong grasp of the Android SDK and MVVM architecture patterns
Experience with Jetpack Compose
Experience with Coroutines and Flow or RxJava
Experience with Retrofit and Room
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to mentor peers, lead complex projects, and influence architecture decisions
Experience with a DeFi protocol, crypto wallet company, or blockchain-related company
Familiarity with EVM blockchains and smart contracts

Responsibilities

Build mobile experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs
Lead product features from ideation and technical design through implementation, testing, and release
Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data scientists
Champion mobile development standards and code review processes
Mentor other developers and elevate engineering standards
