About Minerva Wallet
Minerva Wallet, built by the lab10 collective, is a mobile wallet application ('Minerva - My Digital Wallet') designed to simplify management of cryptocurrencies, tokens, NFTs and decentralized identifiers (DIDs) across a wide range of EVM mainnets including Ethereum, Gnosis Chain, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum One, Avalanche C-Chain, BNB Chain and Celo, along with their respective testnets. The wallet emphasizes user sovereignty over private keys, money, data and identity, and integrates with DApps directly through a Services screen using WalletConnect. The project also has its own token, MIVA (Minerva Wallet SuperToken), a streamable utility token on Gnosis Chain with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, distributed across community treasury, funding & grants, core contributors, ecosystem and users, and governed in part through the Minerva Wallet DAO on Snapshot. Minerva Wallet serves individual retail users seeking a simple, intuitive interface for managing crypto assets and identities, and partners with ecosystem projects such as CoinGecko, Superfluid, Etherscan, Blockscout, Honeyswap, WalletConnect, Uniswap, Symmetric and Connext.

About the Role
As part of the engineering team, your mission is to fully engage in mobile wallet development in the EVM blockchain and decentralized identity space. You will actively contribute to the architecture design and development, while regularly engaging with other cutting edge teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of working experience delivering native applications for Android with a deep understanding of a consumer app life-cycle.
- Expert in Kotlin, Java, and Android UI.
- Minimum 1+ years of working experience integrating blockchain infrastructure for Android and deep understanding of decentralized asynchronous communication.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, building custom UI, and creating great user experiences.
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills, passionate about mobile app development.
- Test driven development mindset, questioning any code produced with a pair of critical eyes.
Responsibilities
- Implement the latest feature set of the Minerva Wallet, outlined in user stories and designs.
- Coordinate with team members to use and improve emerging blockchain standards.
- Write good test cases aiming for full code coverage for functional requirements.
- Stay vigilant about non-functional requirements related to security, transaction cost, etc.
- Improve development tooling and test framework of the protocol development.
- Assist team members in code reviewing their work to get code merged.
- Peer program and code review other team members' work.
- Participate in regular public forum discussions, and lead sessions when needed.
