About the Role
Own the architecture, development, maintenance, and debugging of software applications for upcoming consumer electronics devices. Design high-performance user-facing applications, create core interfaces and experiences, contribute to architecture reviews, and collaborate on product-roadmap integration with a focus on stability, power, and performance. Document architecture, testing procedures, and validation results; coordinate system-level validation and hardware/software integration debugging; support production debugging and user research studies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4+ years of hands-on Android application development experience
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Experience developing large-scale user interfaces for consumer electronics systems
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin
- In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK
- Experience with unit testing and UI testing
- Ability to independently own complex projects and deliverables
- Ability to debug complex cross-domain issues
- Commitment to rigorous documentation and testing practices
- Comfort working in a startup or high-velocity team environment
Responsibilities

- Support production-system debugging
- Support user research studies for user-interface development
