About the Role

You will develop and deploy Vision-Language-Action models, robot transformers, imitation-learning algorithms, and generative AI techniques for robot autonomy. You will refine algorithms for navigation and spatial reasoning, improve data and training workflows, optimize models for edge deployment, mentor engineers, and maintain technical guidance and documentation.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a relevant field
• At least 3 years of industry or research experience
• Deep learning knowledge including supervised learning, self-supervised learning, transformer architectures, policy optimization, imitation learning, generative AI, and diffusion models
• Experience developing Vision-Language-Action models or large-scale generalist robot models
• Robotics background in autonomy and navigation
• Experience deploying artificial neural networks on hardware platforms
• Python and PyTorch experience

Responsibilities

• Develop Vision-Language-Action models, generalist robot transformers, and imitation-learning algorithms
• Design, test, and refine algorithms for real-world autonomy and navigation
• Improve data-collection and training workflows for new tasks and data sources
• Collaborate on methods using simulated and real-world data
• Optimize and distill networks for real-time edge deployment
• Build, lead, and mentor software engineers
• Provide technical guidance for strategic decision-making
• Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, and best practices
