About the Role

You will own and execute core accounting processes, including month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and intercompany reconciliations. You will reconcile bank accounts and digital asset wallets, perform crypto subledger reconciliations, and prepare entity-level financial statement analysis and US GAAP disclosures. You will maintain audit-ready workpapers, support external audits and regulatory reporting, document accounting treatments for digital asset transactions, and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives including AI-driven reconciliation enhancements.

Requirements

• CPA with 4+ years of progressive accounting experience under US GAAP including exposure to complex accounting areas
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with crypto or digital asset accounting
• Experience with NetSuite and high-volume reconciliations in a production environment
• Strong analytical organizational and communication skills with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Google Workspace particularly Google Sheets
• Preferred: Experience supporting Big 4 audits
• Preferred: Background in regulatory compliance and audits within financial services including money transmitter licensing
• Preferred: Familiarity with stablecoins payments infrastructure or tokenized financial instruments
• Preferred: Experience with crypto subledger tools and systems

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close activities including journal entries accruals prepaid schedules and intercompany reconciliations
• Reconcile bank accounts and digital asset wallets with high-volume transaction activity
• Account for complex financial instruments including investment agreements loan facilities SAFEs SAFTs and warrants under US GAAP
• Perform entity-level financial statement flux and variance analysis and prepare detailed variance reports
• Support preparation of US GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures across multiple jurisdictions
• Maintain audit-ready workpapers and support external audits and regulatory reporting including money transmitter filings
• Perform crypto subledger reconciliations between NetSuite and digital asset systems and maintain rollforward schedules
• Document accounting treatment for digital asset transactions and support policy development
• Contribute to process improvements and support automation initiatives including AI-driven reconciliation and reporting enhancements
