About YeagerAI
YeagerAI is a globally distributed team of builders developing open-source AI and blockchain technology. Its work includes GenLayer, an AI-powered blockchain that aggregates validator intelligence across different large language models for decentralized applications and AI-powered smart contracts; GenWorlds, an open-source framework for customizable multi-agent systems; and yAgents, an AI agent intended to autonomously build, test, debug, and deploy tools for complex tasks.
Skills
About the Role
You will drive the security of an intelligent blockchain platform by producing security recommendations, improving network defenses, and identifying vulnerabilities. You will conduct threat modeling and risk assessments, advise developers on cryptography and secure implementation, research emerging security concepts, and design actionable security controls.

- Proficiency in cryptography, including elliptic curve cryptography and homomorphic encryption
- Familiarity with secure software development practices and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., YARA) and penetration testing tools
- Knowledge of blockchain protocols and smart contract security is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive risk mitigation
- Strong communication skills to translate complex security concepts for developers
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent professional experience; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP) are a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead security design and decision-making for blockchain architecture
- Enhance network security for decentralized systems
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments
- Advise developers on security architecture and cryptography
- Research emerging security concepts and translate them into designs
