About the Role
You will drive security initiatives across the organization, beginning with internal security consulting and the assessment, design, and improvement of security for internal tools. You will advise planning, development, and operations functions; define and improve security rules; operate and audit security products; conduct software, cloud, and asset risk assessments; coordinate stakeholders; and plan and deliver information-security training and awareness activities. Your assignments may expand flexibly according to your experience and interests.
Requirements
- Experience in system development or operations within an IT department, or project management experience.
- Experience implementing security products.
- Experience in system consulting.
- Practical experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- A degree in computer science, information engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience and knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, endpoints, and authentication.
- Practical experience and strong interest in security.
- Ability to identify, logically break down, and solve problems.
- Ability to define rules and processes when they do not exist.
Responsibilities
- Provide internal security consulting and advice to planning, development, and operations functions.
- Define, evaluate, and improve internal and product security rules.
- Operate security products and audit their configuration settings.
- Conduct security risk assessments for software, cloud environments, and asset inventories.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and support security projects.
- Plan and deliver information-security education and awareness activities.
