About the Role

You will lead day-to-day threat management, identify and manage security incidents, and support threat intelligence, hunting, intrusion detection, and incident response. You will improve security processes and automation, develop detections, investigate events, manage security systems, and assess system vulnerabilities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant information-security experience
  • Python scripting skills for security automation
  • Knowledge of networking and macOS, Windows, or Linux
  • Knowledge of cloud security fundamentals and practices
  • Experience managing or deploying security technology
  • Experience building security-monitoring queries and dashboards
  • Knowledge of current threats and techniques
  • Experience with malware analysis, forensics, or penetration testing
  • Problem-solving or troubleshooting experience

Responsibilities

  • Improve security processes, procedures, and automations
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call security incident-response rotation
  • Lead security incidents and update stakeholders
  • Develop and optimize detection use cases
  • Collaborate on security technical directions and solutions
  • Research and analyze security-event patterns
  • Lead threat-hunting missions
  • Manage log collection, security scanning, and intrusion-detection systems
  • Develop automation to reduce false positives and handle events automatically
  • Analyze system security posture through testing and vulnerability impact analysis
