About the Role
You will conduct security research and engineering for advanced applied cryptography, particularly in distributed systems. You will support Security Consulting projects involving blockchain protocols, data management, and zero-knowledge proofs. You will analyze designs, specifications, and codebases; document findings; provide recommendations; and communicate with consulting clients. Your research will apply current security best practices, relevant field advancements, and prior findings.
Requirements
- Interest in distributed and decentralized technologies
- Interest in applied and advanced cryptography, including zero-knowledge proofs
- Interest in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and Web 3.0 systems
- Knowledge of open-source software and development practices
- Knowledge of adversarial scenarios, attack vectors, and threat modeling
- Interest in privacy-enhancing technology and secure communications tools
- Deep understanding of at least one programming language
- Drive to learn additional programming languages
