About the Role

You will secure and protect infrastructure by managing security technologies and investigating potential breaches. You will triage alerts, analyze hosts and malware, coordinate containment and response, create management reports, improve detection logic and security controls, and build SIEM queries and dashboards. You will also work shifts including occasional night shifts.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of incident response or cybersecurity operations experience
  • Experience managing cybersecurity events alerts and incidents
  • Experience with incident monitoring analysis escalation and remediation
  • Experience developing incident response runbooks
  • 3+ years of experience with SIEM analytics intrusion detection malware detection data loss protection and identity and access management tools
  • Understanding of security controls across at least two operating systems
  • Host-based forensics and OS artifact analysis experience
  • Familiarity with cloud services Kubernetes cloud architecture AWS GCP or Azure
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and triage security alerts
  • Perform host-based artifact and malware analysis
  • Coordinate investigation containment and response activities
  • Prepare incident analysis and findings reports
  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements
  • Develop and tune detection logic and security controls
  • Assess security solutions for threat detection and mitigation
  • Create SIEM queries and monitoring dashboards
