About the Role

You will own the end-to-end design and performance of analog RF receive and transmit chains. You will develop matching and tuning solutions, integrate antennas and arrays, perform simulations and measurements, analyze system limitations in Python, define test strategies, and work with suppliers from specification through acceptance testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, RF or Microwave Engineering, Applied Physics or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with RF hardware or systems
  • Knowledge of analog RF, S-parameters, matching, gain and noise
  • Knowledge of low-noise receiver design, antennas and antenna arrays
  • RF measurement skills using VNAs, analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators and power meters
  • Python for analysis, modeling and measurement automation
  • Digital signal processing fundamentals
  • Communication and project-management skills

Responsibilities

  • Own the design, integration, characterization and performance of analog RF receive and transmit chains
  • Characterize high-power transmit hardware
  • Design and optimize impedance-matching and tuning solutions
  • Develop and integrate low-power receive chains
  • Simulate and validate antennas and antenna arrays
  • Combine simulation, analytical modeling and measurement in Python
  • Specify requirements for suppliers and manage supplier engagements
  • Define and execute component, subsystem and integration test strategies
