Reconciliation Specialist Treasury

About the Role
You will reconcile general ledger accounts (cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and balance sheet accounts), investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal records and external statements, analyze and verify transactions for correct recording, maintain reconciliation documentation, prepare reconciliation and financial reports, identify and implement process improvements, and collaborate with Accounting, Finance and Operations to ensure reconciliations follow company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Professional certifications preferred (CPA CMA ACCA or equivalent)
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance preferably in reconciliation or accounting roles
- Proficiency in Excel SAP Oracle and financial systems
- Prior experience in fintech banking Payments or financial services
- Experience with SQL data analytics and automation tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Reconcile general ledger accounts including cash accounts accounts payable accounts receivable and balance sheet accounts
- Identify investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal records and external statements
- Analyze and verify transactions to ensure proper recording
- Maintain accurate up-to-date reconciliation records and documentation of discrepancies and resolutions
- Prepare reconciliation reports and other financial reports as required
- Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation processes and implement changes
- Collaborate with Accounting Finance and Operations to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
- Ensure reconciliations comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
