About the Role

You will complete lectures and coursework on trading fundamentals, practise options trading with live market data in a simulated environment, analyse historical data, develop and backtest an algorithmic trading strategy, and collaborate on trading projects. You will also receive mentorship and hands-on exposure to market making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s university student graduating in 2028 or after September 2027
  • Major in a quantitative field
  • Strong logical reasoning skills
  • Critical thinking
  • Fast decision-making under pressure
  • Verbal and written English communication
  • Computer programming or Python scripting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Complete lectures and coursework on trading fundamentals
  • Apply knowledge in a simulated options trading environment using live market data
  • Analyse historical data
  • Develop and backtest an algorithmic trading strategy
  • Collaborate with traders and researchers on trading projects
